Kendra attended
both Northwestern Michigan College and Grand Valley State University, where she
graduated Cum Laude. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Science with
an emphasis in Elementary Education, and a Master Degree in Education with an emphasis
early childhood developmental delays. Kendra is the mother to three
Benzie students who attend Benzie Central Middle School and Lake Ann
Elementary. She has always wanted to return to her local community to be
a resource to children and families. She is both an educator for special
education and a mother of a child with Autism, which has given her great
insight into the struggles parents face and the difficulty to find resources
for children in Northern Michigan. Kendra most recently joined the Benzie
Central team as the Early Childhood Coordinator. Kendra and her family spend their
summers hiking, boating, and camping.
